Sommarnöjen develops leisure residences and complements to villa gardens in a new way. The idea is to offer small houses with great potential, designed by Sweden’s most recognized architects. Stockholm-based architects Tham + Videgård Arkitekter have designed a tree hotel located in the far north of Sweden.
This shelter consists of a light-weight aluminium structure hung around a tree trunk, a 4×4x4m box clad in mirrored glass. The exterior reflects the surroundings and the sky, creating a camouflaged refuge. The concept enables new visual experiences liminates the differences between architetecture of reality and imagination.
