Sommarnöjen develops leisure residences and complements to villa gardens in a new way. The idea is to offer small houses with great potential, designed by Sweden’s most recognized architects. These are five new houses of 15 sqm that fit into different contexts, for different needs in different places.

tree hotel

Stockholm-based architects Tham + Videgård Arkitekter have designed a tree hotel located in the far north of Sweden.

This shelter consists of a light-weight aluminium structure hung around a tree trunk, a 4×4x4m box clad in mirrored glass. The exterior reflects the surroundings and the sky, creating a camouflaged refuge. The concept enables new visual experiences liminates the differences between architetecture of reality and imagination.
