Yurts have housed people in Central and East Asia for centuries. The portability and easy assembly of their homes was, and continues to be, crucial for these nomadic communities.

The Yurta can serve as a long or short term dwelling (like a cottage or a festival booth) and vary according to its purpose (it can be installed on a platform or directly on the ground). The Yurta is an ideal shelter for backcountry expeditions, base camps, and leisure housing inspired by nature (to name a few).

The Z-Glass house is not designed as a portable house;  yet at only 14′ wide it can be trucked down the road. The house shown above is pictured with rolled hot steel siding. At users choice, it can be finished in any number of sidings. Unfortunately, as this time no interior pictures are available.

Das 60 m2 kleine Haus (Innenfläche netto) in einem Sukkulentengarten mit der Ruine eines Vorgängerbaus liegt in Real de Catorce, im Norden Mexikos. Die geringe Grösse wird durch die Offenheit des Grundrisses kompensiert. Durch die richtige Platzierung reicht  der Wohnraum optisch bis zum Sonnenuntergang in der Wüste. Der temporäre Aufenthalt im Haus wird zu einem Wohnen in der Landschaft.
